CCF Wants SDL to be part of Charter process

The Citizens’ Constitutional Forum (CCF) welcomes the call made by Soqosoqo Duavata ni Lewenivanua (SDL) National Director, Peceli Kinivuwai that SDL be included in the decision making to allow for peaceful solution in moving Fiji forward, as reported on fjilive.com website (14/08/07).

“The call should be heeded by the interim Government now and CCF is encouraging the SDL to fully participate in the dialogue process,” CCF Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rev Akuila Yabaki said.

“We support the call by SDL that they should be invited to be members of the National Council for Building a Better Fiji.

“The diversity and inclusiveness of views and positions has to be the basis of any sensible dialogue in building a better Fiji. All political groupings, stakeholders and interest groups must be part of the process,” Rev Yabaki said.
