Police identify suspects behind sacrilege- FBC

A group of four men is believed to be involved in the series of temple break-in’s along the Nakasi and Nausori corridor.
Police Commissioner Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho confirmed this while assuring Indo-Fijians at the Gopal Sadhu Hanumangadi temple in Nasinu last night.
The Police Chief says two men are currently in police custody and investigations will continue to identify the perpetrators involved.
“Be rest assured that we will not just end our investigation with those carrying out the attacks, we will get to anyone who has benefited from this crime or in any way assisted them.”
Brigadier General Qiliho says a dedicated task force of twenty officers have been assigned to investigate all the temple break in’s.’
There has been four reported temple break-in’s within a span of a month.
