March 21: International Day for the Elimination of all forms of Racial Discrimination

The Citizens’ Constitutional Forum (CCF) will be observing the day through the theme: “Countering Ideologies That Fuel Racism”. In countering these ideologies that seek to create intolerance in our society, we choose to advocate for RESPECT to champion our message. We believe that through applying self-respect in one’s life, and realising self-worth and value as a human being, one will be able to respect their neighbors. We also choose to advocate through respect as it is closely connected to love, responsibility and humility.

The notion is, through respect we will love others regardless of their ethnicity, religion and views; we will be responsible citizens – taking control of everything we do and being trusted to act without harming others; humility will come with ease, being humble by recognising the value of others.
