CCF and CEO Sentencing
The Citizens’ Constitutional Forum has been fined $20,000 and CCF CEO Reverend Akuila Yabaki was handed a three month sentence, wholly suspended for 12 months by High Court Judge Justice William Calanchini this afternoon.
Reverend Yabaki has also been fined $2000 and has to pay court costs of $2500 within 28 days.
CCF also has to pay $2500 in court costs within 28 days. The sentence handed down also requires CCF to arrange an apology to the courts. CCF has to draft and submit the apology to the courts within 28 days for approval and once approved the apology has to be printed in the next edition of the CCF Newsletter, Tutaka. CCF Sentence
